- A deposit of £100 is required to secure a booking.
- A further £100 damage deposit is added to total booking cost, which will be returned within three weeks of the end of booking, subject to any deductions for damage or loss. We reserve the right to increase this deposit for large, single sex parties.
- The balance of payment (including addition for damage deposit) is due no later than 4 weeks before arrival. For bookings within 4 weeks of the holiday commencement the full amount is due immediately. Securing deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations within 8 weeks of the holiday, the amount paid (less deposit) will only be refunded if we can re-let the cabin for the length of your booking. No refund will be given if cancellation is within 4 weeks of holiday commencement. We strongly advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance.

- On arrival at Dalavich, you will be directed to your cabin, by our resident representative. Please see booking confirmation paperwork for location for key collection.
- All electricity, eg heating, lighting, cooking and shower, is included in the tariff.
- Bed linen, duvets and tea-towels are provided and included in the tariff. Towels are not included, but these can be hired from our House Keeper if required.
- Children’s high-chairs, cots and buggies are not included, but can all be hired form our House Keeper (in advance) for a small charge. Please state your requirements at the time of booking.
- Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed per cabin. See “Prices & Availability” page for details of additional charge. Please keeps dogs off the furniture, a charge may be levied against your damage deposit if extra cleaning is required.
- Due to strict insurance regulations we must ask you not to smoke or have any naked flames in the cabins.
- There are no laundry facilities in the cabin, but a coin operated laundry is available at the community centre for the use of guests.
- No liability is accepted by highland-hideaway.co.uk for loss or damage to hirers’ property, including, but not limited to baggage and motor vehicles, however caused; nor for any mishap or accident to persons whilst on the premises. The owners reserve the right to refuse admission, or to terminate the let of any persons who in the opinion of the owners is acting in a dangerous or unruly manner which may cause danger or distress to other holidaymakers and residents. In any such case, fees paid will NOT be refunded.
- We want your stay in our cabins to be as enjoyable as possible; should you have any special requests with regards to your stay with us, please ask when you book. We will always go “that extra mile” to accommodate your wishes if possible.
- Privacy Policy: we do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. Please see our Privacy Policy, shown elsewhere on site, for further details.
- Behaviour / conduct: Loch Aweside Forest Cabins site is a place of peace and quiet. Guests are required to adhere to site rules and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. Anti-social behavior will not be tolerated and Police will be informed of any cases of a breach of the peace. We reserve the right to evict any guests acting in an anti-social way without refund.
- Please ensure your bring Booking Confirmation paperwork with you, this may be required to check-in.
- If there is anything not to your satisfaction within the cabin please notify owner or House Keeper immediately. We will go out of our way to efficiently resolve any issues for you but will not entertain any claims or disputes made after the event if issues are not brought to our attention.
- Mr D Winter (trading as logcabin-holidays.co.uk) acts as an agent for several owners who are the providers of the accommodation listed. Any claim for loss or damages is to be made to the appropriate owner, details available on request.
