Lovely woodland setting
This beautiful, eco-friendly, Scandinavian style log cabin with hot tub sleeps up to six guests. It provides comfortable and spacious accommodation in a pretty woodland setting.
Well equipped, beautifully furnished, with light and airy interior. Situated on a large plot approximately 200 yards from the loch. It has a raised veranda, BBQ / fire pit area and Scandinavian wood fired hot tub (extra charge).
The accommodation consists of open plan living, dining and kitchen area, two double bedrooms, twin sleeping loft (access via ladder) and family shower room.
The lounge / dining area has a vaulted ceiling, Freesat Satellite TV, DVD, Hi-Fi (via TV and DVD), Wi-Fi and Bose Bluetooth speaker, sofa and easy chairs. There is a dining table for six and a lovely wood burning stove. Patio doors open onto a raised veranda area overlooking the garden and woodland. The cabin is flooded with light from the large glazed area in gable end.
- The kitchen is well equipped, with cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso Coffee machine, juicer and all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery etc.
- Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet, heater, heated towel rail and shaver point / light.
- Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.
- Bedroom 2 has a double bed, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet.
- Loft room is accessed via a ladder and has twin beds, clothes hanger, chest of draws and bedside table.
Outside there is parking for 2 cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, a BBQ / fire pit area, ample grounds and wood fired hot tub. The cabin provides privacy and is a short walk from the shores of Loch Awe. As well as beautiful scenery the grounds and surrounding woodland provide an outstanding habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species. Red Squirrel and Pine Marten are relatively common and many bird species inhabit the area. A great location for wildlife watchers and nature lovers.
The cabin is finished throughout with Scandinavian style painted timber lining, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and Kitchen livingsuitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in a peaceful woodland location.
All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. This is a non smoking cabin. Dogs are welcome at extra £20 each per stay.
A Scandinavian style, wood fired hot tub is available to guests at an extra cost of £99 per stay (includes 3 bags of logs). The perfect way to relax and enjoy this lovely location and the amazing night skies that this area has to offer. Extra logs can be purchased from our House Keeper. Please be aware that this is a traditional hot tub and not a Jacuzzi / spa and water is heated by a wood fired burner, which may take some while (up to 5 hours in first instance) to heat.
Please note: We do not accept large, same sex (i.e. hen / stag) parties in this cabin.
