This beautiful, eco-friendly log cabin with electric hot tub provides comfortable & spacious, self-catering accommodation for up to six guests in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has bags of traditional, rustic charm & provides a true log cabin experience in pretty woodland surroundings. Situated on a large plot, approximately 150 yards from the loch. It has a small burn to the rear and overlooks open meadows with far reaching mountain views.
The accommodation consists of open plan Living, dining and kitchen, double bedroom, double-bunk room, twin sleeping loft (access via ladder) and family shower room.
The living / dining area has a vaulted ceiling, Freesat Satellite TV, DVD, Hi Fi (via TV and DVD), sofas & easy chair, dining table for eight and a lovely wood burning stove. The front elevation is mainly glazed, to maximize the views, with French windows opening onto a raised veranda area overlooking the meadow. The kitchen is well equipped, with cooker, fridge / freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils, crockery, cutlery etc.
Shower room is tastefully finished and has electric shower, wash basin, toilet, heater and shaver point.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, built in wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side table.
Bedroom 2 has two bunk beds, wardrobe / clothes storage and bed side cabinet.
Loft room is accessed via a ladder and has twin beds, clothes hanger, chest of draws and bedside table.
Outside there is parking for two cars, an elevated veranda with garden furniture, a BBQ / fire pit area, hot tub and ample grounds. The cabin provides privacy and is a short walk from the shores of Loch Awe. As well as beautiful scenery the grounds and surrounding woodland provide an outstanding habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species. Red Squirrel and Pine Marten are relatively common and many bird species inhabit the area. A great location for wildlife watchers and nature lovers.
The cabin is timber lined throughout with authentic Larch boarding, double glazed, highly insulated, well heated and suitable for year round use. It provides a balance of luxury and comfort while maintaining the character, charm and feel of a true log cabin in a peaceful woodland location.
All electricity and linen (not towels) are included within quoted prices. This is a non smoking cabin. Dogs are welcome at extra £20 each per stay.
An electric hot tub is available to guests at an extra cost of £99 per stay. The perfect way to relax and enjoy this lovely location and the amazing night skies that this area has to offer.
£100 deposit required to secure booking, with balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
